In local government, we operate in a world where your Council is only one issue away from a large-scale crisis that could cripple your operations and seriously impact your community.
What if you could get on the front foot with communication about potential crises, helping your leaders prepare more effectively so they’re not blind-sided if the unthinkable happens?
Perhaps you’re thinking this isn’t a priority right now when there’s so much else to do – but there are many examples of organisations that have come through crises more quickly, with less reputation damage, because they made crisis communication a focus up front.
You’re invited to join us for the next complimentary webinar of the Local Government Communication Professionals Network when we’ll look at practical examples of crisis communication planning and how you can apply them in your Council.
You’ll come away with an effective framework for considering and prioritising potential reputation crises and the next steps for ensuring your Council stays ready.
In an age of cyber crime, deep AI fakes and divided communities, crisis communication planning is essential for every Council. As a communication professional in your organisation, you have a vital role to play.
